AVOIDConfidence: 67%
Thesis
Centrus Energy Corp. is significantly overvalued with its current price approximately 85% above estimated fair value, despite a strong ROIC well above its cost of capital. However, weak fundamentals and a very low free cash flow yield suggest limited upside potential at present.
Key Risk
The primary risk is that the company's free cash flow growth remains negative and fundamentals do not improve, undermining valuation support.
Signals To Watch
  • Price moves to at least a mid-teens discount to fair value.
  • ROIC remains consistently above the cost of capital in upcoming quarters.
  • Narrative trend shows meaningful improvement in score direction.
